Suspect in Middeniya Triple Murder Arrested at Airport

COLOMBO (News 1st); A suspect involved in the assassination of Anura Vidhanagamage, also known as "Kajja," and his two children in Middeniya was arrested this morning at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

Police reported that the suspect was apprehended upon his arrival from Chennai, India.

The individual, identified as Ishan Madushanka, had fled to India following the incident.

The tragic event occurred on February 18th in the Middeniya area, where Kajja and his two children were shot.

Kajja succumbed to his injuries on the spot, while his children later died from their wounds.
