2,000 Workers Deployed to Remove Election Posters Across Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Around 2,000 workers have been recruited to remove posters related to election campaigns across Sri Lanka.
Police Spokesperson SSP Buddhika Manatunga said that four workers have been sent to each main police station, while three are assigned to smaller stations. Rural areas have been assigned two workers at each station.
The workers are temporary and will stay on the job until May 8.
He also added that workers have been sent to 605 of the 607 police stations nationwide.
