22,450 Institutions Identified For Failing to Pay EPF

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Labor says that 22,450 state and private sector institutions that have not provided employees with the relevant Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) have been identified.

Deputy Minister Mahinda Jayasinghe says discussions with the relevant heads of institutions have begun in this regard.

He added that relevant steps will also be taken to provide employees with their relevant EPF payments.
