Suspect Arrested with Firearms, Ammunition and Heroin

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A suspect was arrested in possession of firearms, ammunition, and heroin during a raid in the Kotakirala area of Uragasmanhandiya. 

According to the police, the raid was carried out based on a tip-off. Authorities discovered a foreign-made 12-bore gun, a foreign-made revolver, another 12-bore firearm, a muzzle-loading firearm, 10 rounds of ammunition, and 2.5 grams of heroin in the possession of the suspect. 

The suspect is a 35-year-old resident of the Maha Uragaha area.
